Andy McEwan

Managing Director

I bring more than three decades of experience across civil engineering and construction. My approach is practical and results-focused, with a strong emphasis on building reliable teams and safe working environments. I take a hands-on interest in every project, from planning through to completion, and value long-term client relationships built on trust and delivery.

Brian Guthrie

Commercial Manager

I have over 25 years of experience delivering projects across complex commercial environments, with a proven track record in cost control, contract negotiation and profitability. I focus on keeping projects on time and within budget while maintaining strong client relationships throughout. Outside work I’m a keen chess player and regular at live music gigs.

Jason Flockhart

Estimator

I have been part of the commercial team at Menzies since January 2021. With 8 years of experience preparing accurate cost estimates, I analyse drawings, specifications and tender documents to produce competitive, commercially sound submissions. I’m detail-oriented and collaborative, with a strong track record supporting successful bids and project delivery.

Nicola Mooney

Project Engineer

I have worked at Menzies for 36 years, starting as a Trainee Setting Out Engineer. I am now a Project Engineer, responsible for our framework contract with the Mining Remediation Authority. Over more than three decades I have developed a detailed understanding of how to deliver technically demanding projects to a high standard.

Pauline Bartle

Senior Accounts Clerk

I joined the company in April 1998 and have supported the business ever since. My role covers processing purchase invoices, managing the switchboard and reception. I take pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. Outside work, my partner Peter and I enjoy time away at our caravan in Aberfeldy.

Rebekah O’Donnell

Trainee Quantity Surveyor

I joined the commercial team at Menzies in 2024 as Trainee Quantity Surveyor, covering cost management, valuations, measurements and wider commercial administration. I am currently completing my BSc in Quantity Surveying at Edinburgh Napier University. Outside work I’m a qualified scuba diver and enjoy staying active socially with friends.

Robbie Birrell

Plant Manager

I have worked in agriculture, construction and landscaping for most of my life, operating a wide range of plant and vehicles. I have been Plant Manager at Menzies since 2020 and completed my transport manager qualification in 2024. Outside work I play cricket and enjoy flyfishing, and currently serve as President of Freuchie Cricket Club.

Ryan Dunn

Works Manager

I have been Works Manager since early 2025, overseeing construction operations and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, safely and to a high standard. My background is in civil engineering, and I have drawn on both my prior experience and training within the company to develop into this role. Outside work I enjoy football, walking my dog and spending time with my family.

Scott Campbell

Financial Controller

I joined Menzies in 2024, bringing a broad background in commercial roles across several industries. Alongside overseeing financial performance, I support and lead a number of key transformation initiatives across the business. Outside work I spend my time with my wife, our dog and our three cats.
