New Mining Remediation Authority Emergency Response and Minor Works Framework:
Maintained our place as 1st ranked on the Framework for a further 4 years to 2030 which will total 22 years on this Framework.

Works included in this Framework are varied and typically include:

  • Emergency Response – We are contracted to provide 24/7/365 response to ensure that any public safety incidents such as mineshaft collapses, ground subsidence, minewater outbreaks and gas emissions throughout Central Scotland are secured and made safe within a specified timeframe.
  • Follow on remedial works can include:
    • Filling of open shafts, adits, mineworkings and voids
    • Mass concrete plugging of underground features
    • Reinforced concrete capping of shafts/adits
    • Permanent Fencing
    • Reinstatement of affected areas, including fields, highways and gardens
    • Drainage improvements
    • Maintenance of Mining Remediation Authority sites and spoil tips.
  • Where subsidence claims involve structures, typical building related works can include:
    • Trial Pits and Investigations
    • Enabling and remediation works
    • Underpinning and structural repairs
    • Demolition and temporary propping
    • Roofing, brickwork and blockwork
    • Internal and external refurbishments
